This year’s 4th Banja Luka m:tel half-marathon will be held on a completely new, 21km long, track which spreads through green alleys, parks and the most famous settlements in Banja Luka all the way to the Kastel fortress. The new half-marathon route has also been given the official AIMS certificate, thus placing it on the list of marathon tracks on which one can set records for the Olympic, national, continental and world races.
In addition to setting personal records, our runners will now be able to achieve qualifying times for major world marathons. Holder of the “five-star” certificate from the European Athletics, and the fourth largest marathon in the region, this half-marathon will gather around 2000 contestants from more than 40 countries and, next to the new, attractive running track, it will also take form of a festival enriched with many educational, promotional and entertainment activities.

In order to register and officially become a participant of the Banja Luka half-marathon race, you need to confirm that you agree to the following rules and regulations. The rules apply to all participants of the race so please read them carefully before signing up and filling in the official form for participation in the Banja Luka half-marathon race. By completing the application on our site, you will automatically agree to all terms and regulations. The rules in this document are binding to all runners and organizers and include guidelines related to the race itself as well as for the organization of this sporting event.
The organizer takes responsibility for the safety of runners, and will take all measures possible to ensure that runners are safe. No pets or any vehicle is allowed in the race or at the start / finish line of the race. According to the IAAF and AIMS rules, all runners must leave the race immediately, if asked to do so by an official. If the race gets canceled due to unexpected or unforeseen events and circumstances the signup fee will not be compensated. If a person who has signed up for the race cannot participate in the race, he or she may transfer his or her start fee to the other person, at any time, except on the day of the race.
